Aubin, and welcome to AutoCAD Architecture Essential Training. In this course we'll start by laying out a simple floor plan using wall objects. I'll show you how to draw walls using a variety of techniques and discuss how the walls automatically interact with each other to form clean joints. We'll add other intelligent objects to our layout such as windows and doors that automatically cut openings in the walls. We'll see ways to refine the layout using tools and tool palettes to change the style of walls and other objects, incorporating such things as materials and automatic caching. We'll see how with the click of a mouse we can completely change the graphics used to display our drawings, whether changing from small-scale plans to large-scale, presentation views to production views, or switching from 2D to 3D, all without redrawing.

Using projects we'll make quick work of building models, creating plans, elevations, and sections, and. Practice while you learn with exercise files.
